Workshop Description

Today work-life reality means that we must be prepared to deal with daily stress and challenging conditions, at any time, and there is no letting up. We are expected to perform effectively no matter the circumstance. This is a lot of stress. The good news is that resilience is a very teachable construct; quality and skill. We can learn to condition ourselves (mind-body-spirit) to become more resilient and responsive, by strengthening our resilience factor, to bounce back, no matter what. It begins with our personal wellness/self-care, the focus for this comprehensive workshop.


Learning Outcomes

  • Understand relationships among stress, resilience, employee wellness/self-care and effectiveness. 
  • Examine how stress adversely impacts our health, job performance and responsiveness.
  • Explore current scientific solutions in health and psychology that promote stress relief and resilience. 
  • Relate learning to daily job expectations to establish a sustainable personal wellness regime.

Emotional Freedom Technique - Tapping Out Stress & More

Workshop Description

Discover an incredibly effective technique for managing anxiety, stress, phobias, physical pain and more called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and/or 'tapping.' This safe, self-directed therapy involves the stimulation of specific acupressure points on the body through a gentle tapping process with our fingertips. Understand the amazing science behind how it works, and an easy tapping sequence to be used on anything, from improving our emotional state, to job stressors and even food cravings! 


Learning Outcomes

  • Learn the origin and science behind The Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) modality and discover immediate and long term benefits it delivers. 
  • Learn and gain practice with one simple and effective tapping sequence to be used for anything, including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Strengthening Wellbeing through Heart-Mind Coherence

Workshop Description

Heart intelligence/ heart coherence is an emerging, science-based and practical approach to helping us address one of today’s biggest challenges, stress. Stress affects performance, absenteeism, decision-making, focus, and overall wellbeing. Through simple heart-focused techniques, participants will learn how to regulate stress, and create emotional balance; this includes guided meditation practices to boost wellbeing, to promote a healthier, happier, more resilient and productive workplace overall.
